The heating value of petrol is 10,500 kcal, and that of diesel—10,300 kcal. But hydrogen’s is 28,700 kcal. Internal combustion engines running on petrol, diesel, or autogas can be enriched with a hydrogen mixture. This partially replaces the main engine fuel and reduces its consumption by up to 18% for vehicles (cars, commercial vehicles, business vehicles).

Petrol or diesel have large gaps between molecules, and most of the energy is spent on delivering spark in the combustion chamber. A hydrogen system dissociates water molecules H2O into hydrogen H2 and oxygen O2 by electrolysis under the influence of an electric current. Hydrogen fills these gaps, and combustion runs 10 times faster. This improves engine efficiency and performance and reduces fuel consumption.

Increased power and torque of the car engine

The system produces and supplies hydrogen-containing gas to the combustion chamber of the car through the air intake. It mildly affects coke deposits, breaking them down at the molecular level. Cleaning the combustion chamber equalizes the compression as well as removes carbon deposits from the engine—compression rings, catalytic converter, particulate filter, pistons and piston rings, exhaust manifold, spark plugs, injectors, oxygen sensor (lambda probe)—which improves engine efficiency and increases its service life.

The system also filters the exhaust: the content of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons is reduced by 1.5 times, and nitrogen oxides—up to 5 times. This increases the service life of the particulate filter by 33%.

Hydrogen is neither accumulated nor stored, but is immediately burned along with the main fuel.

Hydrogen systems for cars differ in the way they are installed—under the hood or in the trunk.

Hood systems consist of an electrolyzer, a separator tank, and a filter. The hydrogen-containing mixture is generated from potassium hydroxide. It is added once, and then you only need to add distilled water at the rate of 1 liter per 2,000 km. There is a water level indicator on the side of the separator tank. It should not drop below the minimum mark.

The trunk system is installed in the trunk. It is electronically controlled and indicates the need to add some water with an acoustic signal.

The system for the generator is mounted on the side. It runs on distilled water. You just add water and save fuel.

Installation and delivery of the system

Installation of a hydrogen system at the Hydroxy Ukraine car service station is possible only in Lviv (Pidbirtsi, 29 Hlynianskyi Trakt). The cost is 4,100 UAH.

We also send systems by mail to all regions of Ukraine where delivery is possible in accordance with the public offer agreement and privacy policy.

To install the system, we provide all components, detailed instructions, and online support from our technician in accordance with the terms of delivery and payment.

The effectiveness of the system is confirmed by the results on the chassis dynamometer: BMW 520I (2003), mileage 440K km before the system was installed: 142 hp, 181 N⋅m of torque. Test results after using the system: the indicators increased to 152 hp and 194 N⋅m of torque.
